Welcome to
ABBA World - your launching
pad to ABBA on the internet.
As I write this, tickets are about to go on
sale for
ABBA the Museum. The Museum opens in June 2009 with five days of
spectacular ABBA events across Stockholm. Fans around the world are
making their plans now for this
highly anticipated event.
The film version of the
MAMMA MIA! musical
opens in July this year, and it seems that this may inspire another
mini-ABBA revival. There are already several new books coming out in the next few
months, and no doubt other new releases are in the pipeline.
The
ABBA World
blog is one year old this month. It seems like just yesterday
that I started it as an addition to ABBA World. Already it has gained
enough notoriety to be included in the nominees for ABBA Site of the
Year.
And 31 years ago this month I saw
ABBA in
concert. It really doesn't seem all that long ago.
