Detta är ABBA:s egen berättelse, som de själva skildrat den för Christer Borg, nöjesjournalist på Kvällsposten i Malmö. Christer, som skrivit FENOMENET ABBA, har under många år följt Agnetha, Björn, Benny och Frida på nära håll och han har haft kontakt med Stikkan Andersson sedan mitten av 60-talet. Han var också på plats när ABBA fick sitt internationella genombrott - på eurovisionsschlagerfinalen i Brighton i april 1974.

Christer has during many years followed Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Frida closely and has had contact with Stig Anderson since the middle of the 60’s. He was also present when ABBA made their international breakthrough – in the Eurovision Song Contest Finals in Brighton in April 1974.
