Raffem.com - Rafaels and Stefans Pictures is one of the most popular ABBA sites, and it’s easy to see why.The site is essentially a massive ABBA history in pictures. There are separate sections for ABBA, Agnetha, Anni-Frid, and Björn & Benny.
Within each of the sections, there is “The Story”, broken down by years, a discography, and news. Each page has hundreds of pictures, including record sleeves, well-known sessions, alternate shots and many rare photographs.
There are some truly amazing images here, with commentary about the pictures or related ABBA history. The discography sections include the original records from Sweden, as well as around the world, with reviews of the albums. There are also listed many ABBA compilation albums, videos and books.
There is also a section on ABBA related places – recording studios, photo and film locations, homes and more, comparing ABBA photos with recent photos of the sites, and often maps and directions. You can also find information about several ABBA-related artists and many ABBA-related recordings.
Raffem.com is a great source for ABBA news, especially the latest news from Sweden. There are frequent updates to the site, with either breaking news from the Swedish media or additions to existing pages.
Raffem.com also includes Rafael and Stefan’s other favourite artists, including Bucks Fizz, Rosenstalz, Helena Vondrackova and Marta Kubisova.
There are also a number of regular features, including Anniversaries and Pictures of the Month, plus a semi-regular Editorial. Be warned though that despite the webmasters’ obvious love of ABBA, the editorial is taking an increasingly negative tone when discussing ABBA.
It’s easy to get around the site, with navigation to the different sections on the left of the screen.
