I took these photos from our vantage point in the main grandstand at Sydney Showground.
The first photo on the left was probably taken not long after my
mother, sister and I arrived at around 5 p.m. The middle photo
was probably an hour or so later, as the crowd braving the rain
in the arena started to grow. I'm not sure what I was trying
to achieve with the photo on the right.
The stepped wall behind the stage had flagpoles on each
level. Each of the flagpoles had an ABBA flag, as seen unfurling
at the start of 'Fernando' in ABBA - THE MOVIE.
The camera was a Kodak Instamatic, 125 square format. I took some photos during
the concert, but being in the dark and without a flash all that
came out on each negative was a tiny coloured square.
The rest of these photos were kindly supplied by Sydney fan
Adrian Zorec.
