Beautiful voices said goodbye to Stikkan Andersson.

It was the lyric writer, the composer and also the musician, Stikkan Andersson light funeral. S:t Jakobs church was filled with beautiful voices and melodies - Gröna små äpplen (Green little apples), Vackra sagor är så korta (You don’t have to say you love me), Stardust, Eric Ericsons chamber choir, Anders Bondemans organ playing - and the smell of thousands of flowers.

The priest Ake Bonnier said that Stikkan’s dreams had come true, including the one to die. His melodies will live forever.

The white coffin was covered with white lilies. In front of the coffin was his wife’s red roses and white lilies, the children Anders, Lasse and Marie’s flowers with ”daddy, we love you” and on both sides of the coffin was ”Goodbye Grandfather” with bouquets of small roses. The royal family had sent a bouquet of yellow roses and blue flowers and Agentha one with pink and white flowers The other members of ABBA - Anni-Frid, Björn and Benny- were in the church as the rest of the music Sweden: Lasse Berghagen, Stig Ohlin, Lill-Babs Svensson. I have feeling left for you, she had written on her flower bouquet, Lisa Nilson, Lasse Lönndahl, Magnus Uggla, Tommy Körberg, Siw Malmkvist, Ann-Loise Hansson, Svante Thuresson just to name a few. The Royal Family was represented by Princes Christina Mrs Magnusson and the culture by the former Dramaten president Lars Löfgren.

Outside the church many remembered happy moments with Stikkan and smiles returned to people. That’s something Stikkan would have liked.
