Clear signs of cautious ordering by dealers this time round of the new ABBA album, Voulez-Vous – 450,000 copies throughout Scandinavia, means 100,000 each country – after Sweden’s no-returns system left chain-stores and others with some of the 753,000 delivered copies of ABBA-The Album to sell off at knockdown prices. ABBA’s manager Stikkan Anderson, and tour promoter Thomas Johansson, headed for Los Angeles to plan the group’s fall tour of the U.S. and pay calls on Atlantic Records and the ICM Agency.
